College Transitional Workshops

Project GRAD will be hosting College Transitional Workshops for all incoming freshmen. The workshops address how to maintain your Project GRAD Scholarship while enrolled in college. It is MANDATORY for all scholars to attend. Plus, you will receive a $25.00 stipend and a college planner.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:

To acquaint you with student support services and resources that will familiarize you with your college campus.
To inform students on specific college success skills (time management, etc.) and to establish systems of support during your freshman year.
To explain how to renew your Project GRAD Scholarship.

This MANDATORY event ensures that your scholarship money is sent and deposited into your college account in a timely fashion by Fall 2012. College Transitional Workshops begin at 8:30 am.

Schedule:

You are to attend the workshop that corresponds to your college/university of choice.

Please note: University of Houston- Downtown students must attend all four dates listed below.

Parent College Transitional Workshop is on June 27 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. You will learn how to support your son/daughter as they make the transition from high school to college and how to support their college success.
