What is Project GRAD?
Project GRAD Houston is a nationally recognized nonprofit pre-K through 16 education reform organization with a proven track-record of increasing graduation and college attendance rates for children in economically challenged communities. Project GRAD Houston serves over 48,000 students within 71 HISD schools in five high school feeder patterns: Yates, Wheatley, Reagan, Davis and Sam Houston, and is now located in 11 other cities across the nation. To date, over 2,050 students have enrolled in college using the Project GRAD Scholarship.
Our Fine Arts students in the HISD Jefferson Davis Feeder Pattern are in need of band instruments. If you have a used instrument that you would like to donate, please contact Miriam Medina at 832-325-0353 or via E-mail at mmedina@projectgradhouston.org.
If you are unable to donate an instrument but would like to contribute to this worthy cause, monetary donations toward a "New Instrument Fund" are also welcome.
Project GRAD Houston is a 501(c)(3) organization and your tax-deductible donation will be acknowledged with a letter.
