Parent University
Parent University is a series of workshops developed by GRAD to help parents of any age child – elementary, middle school, or high school – become knowledgeable about the academic, financial, social and emotional aspects of preparing for, applying to and succeeding in college. Workshops are given at schools as stand-alone activities or in conjunction with other school-planned activities such as PTA meetings or College Nights; they are also offered in other community settings such as churches, City of Houston libraries, housing projects or in collaboration with other organizations.
All Parent Universities will be presented bilingually. Upcoming topics:
