On February 13, all fourth grade students at Looscan, Ketelsen, Sherman, and C. Martinez attended a production of The Little Mermaid at Davis HS Auditorium, performed by the Houston Grand Opera Co. This event, part of the FAME II grant, included not only the performance, but a study guide for every fourth grade teacher to use and specially created TAKS lessons and follow up activities that supported the opera performance.
